Small Hands406 viewsHidden journaling reads: These small hands will one day grow into a useful instrument capable in aiding you to achieve great things in your life. But inasmuch as it can do you a lot of good, it is also capable of hurting a lot of people. A simple wave of a hand can dismiss another human being seeking for help. It can also stop somebody from expressing their sincere sentiments with just an open palm raised to their face. So you see, my dear, you are borne with a grave responsibility along with the privilege of its use.
Please also remember, your hands do not have a mind of their own but instead carry on your will. Use them well. Let your conscience guide you. May you always use these hands as God intended: to aide your fellow men and to comfort those whom you cannot help with a simple touch that says: “I care”.

CELEBRATE LIFE by Sharon Chua255 viewsJOURNALING:
How could a little dot turn out to be the lovable and beautiful you. For 9 months, I watched you grow through the serial ultrasounds we’ve been through. Going through the endless spotting during our first trimester, seeing you first as a dot with no heartbeat and after 1 week, you showed a sign of life. Soon you developed your head, body and limbs that I identified. After 9 months of waiting, you came out… breathing on your own… hearing your heartbeat…feeling your soft delicate body… And you may baby, is one of the reasons to celebrate life.

Holiday Memories278 viewsPapers Used: Winter Wonderland Line - Twinkle (Front) and Mistletoe Kisses
Rub-On: Ting-A-Ling
Other materials: Autumn Leaves RF Flourish Clear Stamp, Ranger Glossy Accent, Zig Embossing Pen, Clear Embossing Powder, Junkitz oval journaling tag.
What I did: I handcut the ornament and some branches from the Twinkle paper. I covered the ornament with a glossy accent to give it a shiny finish and epoxy like texture. I outlined the branches with Zig embossing pen and applied clear embossing powder to make the color of the branches' veins come out. The branches were layered over the other with foam adhesive. I framed the picture with red cardstock. I covered the red frame with gold stamped flourishes and again applied clear embossing powder. I cut the rub-on frame in half to transform it into a pair of brackets for my rub-on title of "Holiday Memories" I handwrote the journaling on the oval tag and inserted it behind my title.
Journaling: Nothing gives me greater joy than to see the love you have for one another. As you both grow older, do not forget the bond that you share and always remember that you have each other to turn to. Xmas 2007 ATL (1 votes)
